I had to have surgery last year and I was left with a scar on my forehead about two inches long. It kind of bothered me because it was the first thing that I felt like people would see when they looked at me (plus I was sick of telling the story of how I got it to everyone). Last month (it was still kind of red and raised at that time) I decided that I was going to try and get rid of it. I consulted a number of different "scar removal specialists" who all guaranteed that they could make it completely go away in just 5 sessions. I was leery of spending that much money before I was absolutely sure so I consulted with a couple of plastic surgeons as well. One of them was honest with me, he told me that there was no absolute certain treatment that would make the scar go away. I decided to work with him. He performed laser on my scar at 3 different visits, and, although the scar is not completely gone, it is significantly less noticeable. So, as long as you have realistic expectations, you will be happy with the results.

I went in for some pitted acne scars and the doctor said the best way to get rid of them was through the punch method. The procedure got rid of the deep pits but i still have some discoloration in the area. Maybe i should get some kind of laser procedure done to finish the job.

When I was 5 I got chicken pox and unfortunately was left with a couple of dark discolorations on my cheeks. I was always bothered by them, because other than that, my face was really clear. I finally decided to consult with a dermatologist to see what my options were. He told me that we could try laser treatment to see if it would reduce the appearance of the scars. I decided to go ahead and give it a try. After 2 sessions, the dark discoloration is gone. I am so happy with the results! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I just finished 5 intense CO2 sessions to get rid of the acne scars on my face. Overall the results are really good. I still have a few marks here and there, but it is nothing compared to the horrible scarring that was there before. The process was time consuming, it was pretty painful, and it was expensive, but it was absolutely worth it in the end.

I was bitten by a dog when I was 16 and was left with a scar right above my lip. I hated the way it looked because it made my lip look jagged. I went to a couple of different doctors and they all told me that Fraxel could give me the results that I was looking for. I ended up doing 4 sessions; the last one was 4 months ago. I have seen some amazing results so far, and my doctor said that I can expect the changes to continue. I finally like the way that my face looks!
